Day 15: A character you’d be best friends with

Everyone? :D

I’d say Daisuke’s probably the most eligible? I mean he’s canonically a damn good friend anyway, and having an outgoing, funny, and genuinely caring guy like him as a best friend would be great. My new roommate is actually kind of similar to him; she’s very outgoing and accepting of everyone, and well, we pretty much hit it off immediately! I’m also kind of similar to Ken (reserved, sweet-natured, etc.) so maybe those two personality types make good friends, who knows?

I’m tempted to just put everyone as an honorable mention, but honorable mentions: Takeru, and Sora seem pretty chill and nice enough to hang out with. Mimi would probably be a lot of fun to talk to. I think I’m kind of similar to Koushiro, Jou, and Ken (as I said before), so there wouldn’t be any problems there.

Day 09: Favorite friendship

ALL OF THE FRIENDSHIPS. ALL OF THEM. Sigh, I guess I have to choose one…

I’m choosing Daisuke and Ken because when it comes down to it, I think they’re the most “important” friendship in the Adventure series. When Ken was first getting integrated with the other Chosen Children, it was clear the poor boy needed a good friend. And seeing his amazement at how he spent the night over at Daisuke’s and how overjoyed his mother was when she found out he was making friends was really heartwarming.

It goes both ways too. I love Daisuke (I love all these characters in case that wasn’t clear), but he did come off as a little brash and rude at first. While he definitely wasn’t as desperate for a friend as Ken was, I’m still glad he gets a BFF by the end of the series.
